Fishing and Lodging Packages:

We work with various fishing lodges, fly shops, and hotels around Montana and can package lodging with your fishing trip in order to make the planning process more streamlined. Whether you’re looking for a full service lodge experience, a hotel in town, or a cabin on the river we can help get you settled into the right place for your fishing trip. Prices vary based on package, please contact us for any lodging inquiries.

Spring Special Fishing Trips: Full Day 1 or 2 Anglers $600

If you’re looking to get an early start to the Montana fishing season our spring special fishing trips offer a full day of fishing at a discounted rate. It’s our full service daily fishing trip program available from March 1st until April 15th.

Upland Bird Hunting

We offer multiple day all inclusive lodging and hunting packages as well as day hunts. Prices vary depending on single or double occupancy, time of year, and location (Big Timber or Lewistown). Give us a call to chat about the details of our bird hunting offerings.

Pointing Dog Training

Monthly: $1,250 per dog enrolled.

Enrollment is limited and on a first come first served basis. Reservations are required.

Policies

Payment Policy

Mountain Prairie Outfitters requires a 50% deposit to confirm a reservation for any services. Receipt of the deposit constitutes agreement to our cancellation and refund policy. Final payment is due before the start of the planned trip or upon delivery of the dog for training.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Deposits will be refunded in full if Mountain Prairie Outfitters receives a written notice of intent to cancel 60 days or more from the start of agreed upon services to be rendered. Within 60 days the deposit will be forfeited unless the guide assigned to the trip is able to be rescheduled for the agreed upon dates. We reserve the right to make refund decisions on a case by case basis. Montana weather and conditions are often variable, trips are not cancelled due to unusual weather or fishing/hunting conditions. Trips cancelled by the guide or mutual guide/client decision due to unsafe weather or other uncontrollable circumstances will have the entire deposit refunded. Travel insurance is recommended.
